My Offerings
-
We go over lifestyle, diet & herbal recommendation with acupuncture, guasha &/or cupping treatment to work with imbalances in the body.
(90 minute Initial, 60 minute Follow-Ups)
-
May include: acupuncture, cupping, guasha, herbal recommendations, fascial integration, abdominal & pelvic organ alignment, scar tissue melting, moxibustion, smoke medicine, vulva/vaginal mapping & education, internal pelvic work.
The longer sessions can be so powerful because we work layer by layer slowly unravelling all that needs to. Tissue unwinds & reveals itself to us when it feels safe & relaxed. the longer you’ve been still & present on the table, the more readily your body opens up and it can be easier to work with.
(90 minute, 2 hour & 3 hour sessions available)
Clinic space in Zihuatanejo, Mexico (Centro) also available for home visits in surrounding area (Troncones, Saladita, Ixtapa)

Frequently Asked Questions // FAQs
What to expect for the first session?
You will have already completed a health history intake form. At the start of the session we will go over the forms and talk about things more in depth. I often take your pulses and look at your tongue to understand better the innerworkings of your body. I will go over the treatment plan for the session & then get started with hands on bodywork.
Drink plenty of water beforehand & don’t have anything strenuous or stressful planned for after the session. It is best to have eaten before the appointment but nothing too heavy within an hour of our session start as it can be uncomfortable to have a full belly during the abdominal work.
What if I’m bleeding during our scheduled session time?
Great! We will celebrate & honour your bleed while we work with the body. I have towels to lay down on the table so you can free bleed and not have anything inside that would be affecting treatment. Treatment can be very nourishing & relieving to receive during this time. It is important to work with the body at all stages of a woman’s cycle.
Do you do internal pelvic work & what does that look like?
Yes, I do internal pelvic work but almost never on a first session. The thing that elicits the most change will be ensuring that your pathways are open (blood, lymphatic, nerves) so they can provide nourishment and hormones while draining the excess waste or toxins. Hands-on body work, acupuncture & organ alignment helps to open & soften your body while making space for the organs. This is the most important part and whenever or if ever you’re ready for internal pelvic work that is the next piece of treatment.
What are the benefits of internal pelvic work?
There are many benefits. It’s a way to practice safety & consent in a controlled environment. We only do internal pelvic work when we both agree you’re ready to receive & it would be beneficial for you. I explain everything I am going to do before I do it, & if your nervous system starts to activate or dissociate, we pause or stop treatment and work to bring you back in to regulation. We may also do vulva & vaginal mapping sessions which is an educational session on self & female literacy & empowerment. If you feel disconnected, misinformed, or want to reprogram the emotions & thoughts connected to your vulva or vagina this is a way to create new neural pathways and relationship to your tissue and body. If you’ve had surgeries, IUD’s or other trauma to the pelvis – internal work allows us to work on scar tissue on the cervix, vulva, and C-section scars from the inside which is extremely transformative. The pelvic diaphragm consists of many muscles, we can assess overall functioning of these muscles & work on relaxing or strengthening these muscles based on what your body needs. Working internally helps to release blockages (physically, emotionally & energetically) allowing you to feel fully into your body. This can help to increase fluid, & hormone functioning as well as give you assess to release or experience all the emotions & sensations available within your body.
How many sessions will I need?
Every body is different, but generally the sooner we work with an imbalance the less time and effort it takes to go back to our natural balanced state. I typically recommend booking weekly sessions for 4-6 weeks and we can then space appointments out as the body adapts & holds the changes. If we don’t have much time together, booking 2 or 3 hour sessions will be the most beneficial for you.
What is included in an appointment?
Appointments are 90 minutes to 3 hours depending on what your body and nervous system can handle. Sessions may include fascial alignment, deep belly & uterine organ alignment, scar tissue melting, bone holding, cupping, guasha, acupuncture, herbal recommendations, diet & lifestyle recommendations, vulva & vaginal mapping, internal pelvic care, anal work & ceremonial smoke clearing & opening. It will never be all of this in one session but appointments are highly individualised. At the start of our session, after we talk I will recommend what modalities I think should be used and how the session will look. If you agree with the treatment plan we will get started - both of us reserving the right to pause or stop with a modality or treatment as things come up. If there is a certain modality or medicine I work with that you are interested in – please let me know at the time of booking. Otherwise, sessions are personalized to what I think will be most helpful in guiding you and your body into balance.
Where were you trained?
I studied Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture at the Canadian Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta for 4 years to become a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncturist. I studied with Carly Beaudry & Andrea Terrones through MaSchool to be certified as a Womb Continuum Care Practitioner. This was an 18 month container of online and in-person training with women from North America -including hosting a retreat where we received many women to offer daily 3 hour bodywork sessions and educational presentations on health & the body. (Plus numerous continuing education courses & personal development.)
What are your costs?
Costs vary based on my location and how much time is spent in session.
México – $800 to $3,000 pesos
Canada – $150 to $300 CAD
Do sessions hurt?
Acupuncture is typically painless. You may feel a small prick when the needle goes in but after that there are different sensations that may come up such as achiness, heaviness, tingling etc. If anything stays sharp or burny let me know & I will adjust for it to be more comfortable. Hands-on body work can be intense but I’m always working with your body & nervous system capacity. Emotions, sensations & memories may come up and if we can continue to breath with it and stay in sensation it is highly beneficial for us to move through & witness the unfolding. If it gets too intense we will slow down, be more gentle, pause or stop. Although most clients report sessions to be extremely relaxing, restorative, relieving, educational, and deeply transformational.
Do you offer online work?
